If you are unhappy with our work or our bill, tell the partner leading your matter first. Most concerns are put right in one conversation.
If that does not settle it, write to our managing partner at complaints@selwoodmarr.example or at 3 Fennel Yard, London EC4A. We acknowledge every complaint within three working days and send a full written reply within eight weeks.
If you are still unhappy with our final reply, or eight weeks have passed without one, you can ask the Legal Ombudsman to look at it. You normally need to do so within six months of our final reply, and within one year of the problem or of when you should have known about it. Contact details are at legalombudsman.org.uk.
A complaint about our conduct, such as dishonesty or discrimination, can also go to the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Shareholder agreement for two to four owners: from £1,800 plus VAT.
Dispute Resolution
Letter before action for an unpaid invoice: £250 plus VAT.
Property
Residential purchase up to £400,000: from £1,450 plus VAT and disbursements.
Private Client
Single will: from £450 plus VAT. Probate: from £2,800 plus VAT.
Employment
Settlement agreement review for an employee: £500 plus VAT, often met by the employer.
Family
Uncontested divorce: from £950 plus VAT, plus the court fee.
VAT is charged at the current rate. Disbursements, such as court and search fees, are paid to others on your behalf and passed on at cost.

We keep client files for at least six years after a matter ends, and enquiries that do not become matters for twelve months. We never sell personal data or use it for advertising.
